West Mercia Police have published crime statistics for January 2021, which indicate a continued fall in the number of crimes being reported. Much of this fall can be associated with the ongoing lockdown in England.
The top reported crimes in the Hereford City Northside area in January 2021 were:
Violence and Sexual Offences: 64
Criminal Damage and Arson: 15
Other Theft: 12
Vehicle Farm: 10
Drugs: 7
Public Order: 7
Crime levels in this area are currently at there lowest for over three years, with the total number of reported offences between Oct-Dec 2020 being 445, this is significantly down on the 942 offences that were reported in this area between Apr-Jun 2020.
