Three people have been taken to hospital after seven vehicles were involved in a collision on the A49 in Hereford.
Emergency services were called to the A49 (Ross Road) at just after 3.30pm this afternoon. Several cars were involved in the incident and crews from Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service helped to release one person who was trapped in one of the vehicles.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:
“We are at the scene of a collision that happened at around 3.30pm and involved three vehicles.
“Three people have been taken to hospital.
“We are encouraging drivers to avoid the area whilst we safely remove the vehicles.”
