It has been confirmed that a small number of pupils at Lord Scudamore Academy are self-isolating after a case of COVID-19 was confirmed.
A letter sent to parents earlier this week said:
We have been made aware that a member of our school community has tested positive for COVID-19.
We know that you may find this concerning but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England.
The small number of children that who have been in close contact with the individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 have received a letter notifying them that their must stay at home for 14 days.
The school remains open and your child should continue to attend as normal if they remain well.
