The number of Coronavirus cases is continuing to rise in Herefordshire, but at a rate that is slower than that in many other areas of the United Kingdom.
Data shared by the government shows that in the week ending 8th October, 67 cases were recorded across the county, a rate of 34.8 cases per 100,000 population. That is an increase of 38 cases on the previous weeks total of 29 cases, however still low enough to keep Herefordshire under medium restrictions following the announcement from the government yesterday.
