6 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Herefordshire, taking the total number of cases recorded in the county to 1,017 since the start of the outbreak.
In the United Kingdom, there has been another 7,143 cases of the virus reported in the last 24 hours – a big rise on yesterday’s total of 4,044.
71 deaths have also been recorded – the highest number since 1 July.
The significant rise in COVID-19 cases comes after the number of positive tests falling at the weekend.
