Fire crews have been busy tackling a large fire at a farm in Hampton Bishop this morning.

Peterchurch Fire Station said:

“00.56 – Both 552 and 557 were called to make pumps at barn fire near to Hampton Bishop with 3 trucks from Hereford Fire Station and Fownhope Fire Station. Due to poor water supplies we erected the dams and carried out a water shuttle using several appliances to feed the fire ground. Several hours later and the incident was scaled down to 3 pumps and time to catch up on some zzz’s.”

Fortunately the fire is now under control and no casualties have been reported.
