It was a good day for two of our local sides yesterday with wins for both Westfields and Hereford Pegasus.

Westfields victory was far from a surprise, with them beating bottom of the table Hallen 5-2 at Allpay Park. However, it is the manner of the victory that will please manager Phil Glover the most, with fields putting in a very good performance. Goals from Harrison Summers, Cawley Cox, Matt MacDonald and Joshua Hunt (2) secured the victory. The positive vibe around the club at the moment is certainly great to see and fields have a great chance of rising towards the top of the division over the coming weeks.

Elsewhere, Hereford Pegasus beat Worcester Raiders 2-1 at Old School Lane. Carlos Moreira and Kyle Panniers the scorers.

Hereford Lads Club were defeated 5-2 at Westbury United. The match was delayed by over an hour after the team coach broke down, and the day went from bad to worse with Westbury scoring four quick goals in the first half to put the game to bed. Jordan Burke and Sam Pearson with the goals for Lads Club.
