The 23-year-old has featured in a couple of trial games for The Bulls this pre-season and was already known to Bulls boss, Josh Gowling, from their time together at Aggborough.

“I already know the gaffer, I came through the youth team at Kidderminster and ‘Gowls’ was there for a while,” Kennedy said, “when I came through he helped me a lot, he’s definitely someone who I want to, and I’m looking forward to playing under.

Kennedy also says that he’s been impressed by The Bulls’ quick rise to the National League North and wants that good recent history to continue. “It’s a massive club, I’ve seen the back to back promotions, I’ve seen what they’ve done and hopefully that can carry on.

Josh Gowling told us more about his relationship with Kennedy. “Kennedy was one of the players who came through the youth team when I was a coach at Kidderminster. He came in for the TNS game, then came back again and he’s done well.

“He’s great around the lads, he’s fitted in really well. He can play centre-half and central midfield. He’s a big powerful lad and has got a great future.

“As long as he keeps progressing, keeps listening, keeps working hard then I think he’s got what it takes to play higher.”
