Hereford FC have confirmed that a small number of the first team squad had COVID-19 tests after a player developed symptoms similar to those suffered by those with COVID-19. All of the tests have returned as negative and the first team is no longer in isolation.

Following the postponement of Saturday’s game at Spennymoor, due to members of the 1st team feeling unwell, we’re pleased to confirm that all test results have now come back as negative.

The National League have confirmed that the first-team squad no longer need to isolate.

Unfortunately, this has come too late in the day to enable our forthcoming game against Kettering Town, this Saturday, to go ahead, however, we’re pleased to confirm that Tuesday’s trip to Chester can now go ahead as planned.

We will confirm new dates for our rearranged trip to Spennymoor and our home game against Kettering as soon as possible.
