Westfields Football Club have been handed a major boost ahead of the new campaign, with top scorer Josh Hunt committing himself to the club for the forthcoming season.

Josh Hunt scored more than 20 goals last season, despite suffering a broken nose, which saw him miss a number of matches.

Westfields Football Club manager Phil Glover said:

“After a tough season for Josh personally it was remarkable that he was able to score over 20 goals for us last year.

“He wasn’t able to do a full pre season plus suffered a nasty broken nose which required surgery when he was scoring goals weekly for us. It’s great he has committed to us for the coming season, we will set him a target which we know after a good pre season he will reach.”

In addition to the welcome news that top scorer Josh Hunt will remain at the club, Westfields have confirmed that Max Coley, Sean Powell, Matt MacDonald, Paul Hurrell, Sam Rawlings, Dan Stoneman and Ryan Green will also be at Westfields next season, in addition to new signings Adam Wakley and Kyle Cassell.
