Hereford FC 0-3 Southport

Last night, the shouts for Marc Richards to go were the loudest they have been so far after the Bulls fell to yet another home defeat, this time losing 3-0 at home to fellow strugglers Southport.

Southport themselves will be delighted with the result and it will probably be the easiest three points they collect all season. After Danny Greenslade was sent off for a last ditch foul on a Southport forward which resulted in a penalty, you knew it was going to be one of those evenings.

Richards and several players made their way over towards the Meadow End at the full time whistle and Richards in particular was subject to a large amount of abuse directed in his direction. Captain Harvey Smith was also confronted by supporters.

Calls for changes at board level were also mentioned by many supporters with people feeling that the club’s board have brought the current poor form on themselves after the premature sacking of Peter Beadle.
