Hereford FC are delighted to confirm the signing of Keiran Thomas from Gloucester City.

The former Tigers captain has spent the last two years with Gloucester, making over 80 appearances in the National League North and South.

“I’ve known Keiran since he was a youngster at Cheltenham Town” revealed Bulls boss Pete Beadle, adding “he’s a versatile player, he can play at right-back and in midfield, he’s a strong, solid player who is very good technically.

The 23-year-old was picked up by Cheltenham Town at the age of 11 and progressed through the youth ranks before being released at the age of 18. He went on to sign for his hometown club, Cinderford, who he helped win promotion from the Southern League South & West, alongside former Bull, Alex Harris.

He then joined Gloucester City where he has spent the last two seasons, playing in both the National League North and South.

“His arrival gives Jimmy Oates some great competition for the right-back place, but it also opens up other options for us,” said Beadle “Jimmy can play anywhere at the back, and Keiran can play in midfield as well.”

“Despite his young age, he will bring some invaluable knowledge of the National League North, and we can’t wait for him to get started.”
