TRAVEL | Major delays as fuel spillage closes A40 near Ross-on-Wye

There are major delays on the Eastbound section of the A40 near Ross-on-Wye this morning, after the road was closed due to a fuel spillage.

ROSS-ON-WYE | The A40 EB is closed between A49 and Over Ross roundabout.

A roadworks vehicle has broken down causing a spillage which must be cleared before the road can be reopened. This has caused major delays across Ross; a diversion is in place @RossonWyeCops pic.twitter.com/2xNAEBKWSi

There are reports of traffic queuing back for miles on the A40 and also the A49 towards Hereford.
