West Midlands Ambulance Service have provided an update on why the air ambulance landed in the Belmont area of Hereford on Thursday evening.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called at around 4.20pm yesterday (Thursday) to a medical incident at a private address off Eastholme Avenue in Belmont, Hereford.
“Three ambulances and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found one male patient.
“He was treated for serious injuries before being airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment.”
