Walkers in Malvern have shared their frustration after discovering that a Waitrose trolley has been padlocked to the top of Worcestershire Beacon, the highest point of the Malvern Hills.
A post on a local social media group said:
“Unfortunately someone has padlocked a Waitrose Trolley next to the trig on the Worcestershire Beacon. Two guys tried to lever it off but to no avail. I wonder if this has been reported to the Malvern Hills Conservators.”
A comment from Gerry Davies said:
“Those all locks are not cheap, hopefully they will be caught when they come to retrieve it.”
