COVID-19 infection rates in Herefordshire are the highest they have ever been, according to latest data. However, how does that reflect in death figures compared to when the pandemic started back in March?
In the early stages of the pandemic, testing wasn’t as widely available as it is now and therefore, despite cases being much higher now on a daily basis, the real difference is likely to be far less.
However, what can’t be avoided is the significant rise that we are once again seeing in hospitalisations and now sadly deaths.
