A Herefordshire Primary School has suffered significant damage after a car crashed into the front of the building overnight.

A spokesperson for Ledbury Fire Station said:

“A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Ledbury were called to assist West Mercia Police at an RTC involving Ashperton Primary School.

“A crew of 4 were mobilised at 12.39am and made the scene safe with the help of Hereford Fire Station. Eurotow Recovery and Repair removed the vehicle and we left the scene around 2.45am. No casualties involved at the scene, however, we were very sad to see Ashperton Primary school damaged and in need of so much repair.

“We hope you guys get it fixed up soon, and thank you for attending to assess the damage! We hope it doesn’t cause too many issues and disturbance to the students learning.”
