West Mercia Police officers attended an area of Worcester yesterday evening, alongside West Midlands Ambulance Service and the National Police Air Service helicopter, after a resident reported hearing gunshots.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:

“Police were called to Ambrose Close in Worcester at 9.45pm on Sunday 7 November following a report of hearing gun shots.

“Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and a helicopter from the National Police Air Service.  A thorough search of the area was completed.  No signs of disorder were found and no injuries were reported.  No further calls were received in relation to this.”
