Shop owners in a Herefordshire market town are being asked to avoid selling eggs to children after residents reported that eggs were being thrown at properties.

Police in Ledbury have asked shop owners not to sell eggs and flour to those aged under 18 after a number of incidents in Ledbury.

Reports received from public that houses are being targeted with eggs being thrown. Shop owners are being discouraged to sell eggs & flour to under 18's during Halloween. Some residents are vulnerable and get frightened by objects being thrown at their property. #vulnerability
