One person has been taken to hospital following a collision in Herefordshire this afternoon.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:

“We were called at 12.37pm to reports of an RTC on the A49, Leominster.

“Two ambulances were sent to the scene. A man and a woman were assessed by ambulance staff.

“The man was conveyed to Hereford hospital for further checks. The woman was discharged on scene.”

The road is now open and traffic is beginning to return to normal.
