From Gloucestershire Police:
Officers have arrested two people in the Forest of Dean this evening in connection with class A drugs offences after a warrant was carried out by the local policing team.
A large quantity of white powder was discovered and seized from a property in the Berry Hill area shortly after 5pm today (Friday 23 July).
A man and woman were subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply in connection with the investigation.
They remain in police custody tonight while enquiries continue.
