Masefield Solicitors, based in Ledbury, have been providing legal services to the community since around 1836. Charles Masefield, current owner, became equity partner in the firm in September 1988.

Charles worked with his father, William (Bill) Masefield until 2003. Bill Masefield retired in 2003, the same year he received an MBE for services to healthcare in Ledbury, at the age of 78 but continued to serve in the community in unpaid but important roles until his passing in 2018.

At the start of the global financial crisis in 2008 Charles Masefield became the sole equity partner at Masefield Solicitors, now twelve years on in the middle of a global pandemic Charles is delighted to have laid the foundation for the future of the firm by welcoming Nia Jones (32) and Emma Davies (28) as equity partners in the business.

Lyn Gardiner, a fellow of the institute of legal executives, has also recently joined Masefield Solicitors as an employee and is an experienced conveyancer with over 15 years’ experience, all in the Ledbury area. Lyn joined the firm on 2nd September, and has hit the ground running, already making a good impression with the existing clients of Masefield Solicitors.
