A major route in Herefordshire is closed in both directions this morning due to a serious collision.

The A44 is closed between Leominster and Bromyard at Steen’s Bridge.

Emergency services, including West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are all in attendance at the incident.

One car is reported to be on its roof.

Update – A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bromyard and Leominster Fire Stations were called at 08:52 on 26 July to an RTC near Docklow.

“The incident involved two cars, one of which was discovered on its roof with the other on all four wheels. No persons were trapped with two casualties assessed by the ambulance service.

“The vehicles were made safe and the incident was left with police with the road closed in both directions for police investigations.”
