A Hereford restaurant has taken to social media to gauge customers opinions on potentially asking for a deposit when a customer books a large table.
A Rule of Tum who own Burger Shop Hereford, as well as Burger Shop Worcester have taken to social media after a number of ‘no shows’ at their restaurants.
A post on their Facebook page said:
“Did you know that across the hospitality industry 1 in 7 customers book and then fail to show up without informing the venue?â â
“We’re currently working on how to reduce no-shows across A Rule of Tum and we’re wondering what you’d think of paying a deposit for larger tables?â â Let us know in the comments!â â
“We understand plans change so if you do have a booking that you can’t make then give us a bell and it would really help us out!”
