There are fears this morning that a bridge in a Herefordshire village could be closed for several weeks, after it was struck by a vehicle yesterday.

Laystone Bridge in Marden only reopened a few weeks ago after repairs were completed, but there are fears that due to significant damage, the bridge could be closed for several weeks.

Residents have taken to local social media pages to share their frustration, saying that large vehicles continue to use the route as a cut through and that something like this was always likely to happen eventually.
