NEWS | Cat rescued from car engine after travelling 28 miles

A fire crew from Kington took part in an incredible rescue today that involved a cat that was stuck in the engine bar of a car. The driver had travelled 28 miles before hearing the cats cries for help.

From Kington Fire Station:

“Something a little different this afternoon, assisting a vet to remove this little fella from deep in the engine bar of a car.

“He’d travelled 28 miles before the driver heard his cries for help. Successfully rescued but he does have a broken leg so is off for xrays and maybe an operation. Fingers crossed he makes a full recovery. #NotJustFires #alwaysoncall.”
