On Sunday 14th November, children from Broadlands Primary School were accompanied by staff to observe the Remembrance Sunday Parade and service in Hereford.

Children had been asked to design a Remembrance poster as part of a school competition and all of the children who entered were invited to attend the parade. Ā

Deputy Headteacher Robert Kay said, ā€œItā€™s really important that we teach the children about Remembrance Day and what it represents. It was a privilege to be able to take some of our children down to the parade and we hope to make this a regular event. The posters they produced we are proudly displaying them in the school.ā€
