It has been confirmed that Barrie Lane, the co-founder and joint managing director of Taylor Lane Timber Frame has sadly passed away after a short illness.
A post on the companies Facebook page said:
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barrie Lane, co-founder and joint managing director of Taylor Lane Timber Frame. After a short illness, Barrie passed away on the morning of Sunday 29th November 2020, aged 67.
A recognised figure in the timber frame world, Barrie devoted almost 50 years of his career to the industry.
Barrie Lane was a warm and courteous man. Customers and staff held him in great regard and admired his professionalism, sheer determination and friendly but firm manner. He will be greatly missed.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family.
