An Aldi colleague in Hereford is celebrating a work anniversary milestone this month after working at the supermarket for 20 years.
Matthew Jessop, Caretaker at the Aldi store on Eign Street, will be a familiar face to local shoppers having worked at the store since he first joined Aldi in 2001.
Over the years he has kept the store in top condition for its customers and is known for being a real team player by his colleagues.
Speaking about his long service, Matthew said: “I never thought I’d work at the same Aldi store for 20 years, but I’ve loved it so much that I now couldn’t imagine working anywhere else! I really do enjoy the work I do and the job has helped me build lifelong friendships with some amazing colleagues.”
