A week long road closure is set to cause disruption for residents in two Herefordshire villages.

Balfour Beatty has confirmed that resurfacing work will take place on the B4224 between Fownhope and Mordiford in February, with a full road closure set to be in place from Tuesday 22nd February until (and including) Friday 25th February. The road will be closed between 9am and 5pm each day.

There will be diversions in place. Work will also take place in Fownhope between Scotch Firs and Lower House Gardens on Monday 21st February with a full road closure between 9am and 5pm.

The work is taking place during the February half term to minimise disruption.

Emergency services will have access at all times, but residents are warned that there could be delays in getting access.
