Public Health England have confirmed that a further 29 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Herefordshire, taking the total number of cases of the virus recorded in the county since the start of the outbreak to 1,436.

This update means that since last Wednesday, 184 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Herefordshire.

Another 24,701 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the UK while 310 have died, according to the latest government data. 

This is a drop of 57 coronavirus-related deaths from the recorded yesterday – the highest daily number since May.

It brings the total number of deaths recorded within 28 days of a positive test to 45,675.
