Safe Places can be a shop, business or public building where vulnerable people who feel upset or threatened in Herefordshire can go for help and support.
All Safe Places will display the above yellow Safe Place sticker in a visible place, normally in the window.
If you know someone who might want to use a Safe Place, please contact Rose Hunt at Herefordshire Mencap on 07974 524476 for an “I need help” card. The card has space for the name and contact details of two people who know the person well, who can be contacted if needed.
Safe Places is supported by Herefordshire Mencap, West Mercia Police and Herefordshire Council and a list is available on Herefordshire Mencap’s website.
