West Mercia Police have launched a murder investigation in Hereford, Your Herefordshire can this afternoon confirm.
A heavy police presence has been reported in the Green Street and Grenfell Road areas of the city since an incident occurred over the weekend.
Police were called to a property in the area at 5am on Sunday morning.
A 20-year-old woman was found dead in Green Street, Hereford and a 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and since released on police bail.
