Thriving independent restaurant group A Rule of Tum are pleased to announce that a sourdough pizza pop-up Leaven Pizza has a new home at their urban eating and drinking space, The Yard, in Aubrey Street, Hereford.

Leaven was originally started by Jon Stead (one of the founders of A Rule of Tum) and Lara Castro-Griffiths. They started Leaven to share the food that they love with their community, to make pizza and do good. Now that Leaven is a part of The Yard, the A Rule of Tum family want to continue to do the same.

A Rule of Tum Director, Dorian Kirk, said:  “We will provide the same sourdough pizzas that Leaven is known for, including the passion and quality Jon and Lara lived by. We will be using the same starter for the dough and the same high-quality ingredients. Thank you to Jon and Lara for passing us the torch, you guys are legends, we promise to take good care of Leaven

“Leaven is now based in The Yard (behind Burger Shop Hereford), operating out of the shipping container that was once Barabeka and AROT: Dark Kitchen.

Over the next week Leaven will be doing soft launches and getting up and running for opening on the 26th of November, serving pizzas out to The Yard, as well as for takeaway and delivery.
