NEWS | Charlie and his brother Henry raise £310 for the Macmillan Renton Unit

Wye Valley NHS Staff were very pleased to welcome 5 year old Charlie Phillips in today with his mummy Emma and little brother Henry to hand over a cheque for £310 to the Macmillan Renton Unit.

Charlie walked, biked and ran a magnificent 26.2 miles to raise his money after being inspired by his mum’s marathon challenge for Cancer Research.

Charlie wanted to “help people get better” and as his grandparents have had treatment in the unit, Charlie decided to donate there.

Not to be outdone, Henry, aged 3 too joined in for the majority of the event!!

Fantastic achievement all round and the trust has thanked both boys.
