Visit Hergest Croft Gardens this Spring:

The following information is from the Hergest Croft Gardens website – https://www.hergest.co.uk/

We are delighted to announce that we are now OPEN daily, 11.30 – 5.00, and can welcome groups in accordance with the ‘rule of six’, or groups of two households.  No pre-booking is necessary.  Please continue to observe social distancing and any other government guidelines; thank you!  Our new Maples Tearoom is open for take-outs, serving delicious home-cooked food which you can eat in the gardens.  (May we gently remind visitors that if you bring your own picnic, we would prefer you to eat this only in the car park or the orchard – thank you!)  Unusual trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants for sale too … we are so looking forward to seeing you all again.

Dogs on leads are welcome.

A season ticket gives admission to the gardens every day of the year; they cost £27.00 each and can be purchased through the Estate Office on 01544 230160

PLANT SALES: we have a wide range of herbaceous plants, trees and shrubs for sale, with a lovely collection of Hellebores currently in stock, including Joie de Vivre Victoria, Ice Pink Frost and Ice n’ Roses Red, in 2 and 4.5 litre pots.  You can see our own Hellebores looking gorgeous in the spring borders at the moment.  If you are inspired by the flowering shrubs in the gardens, we also have an excellent selection of named Camellias  and Magnolias for sale, both in flower and in bud, various sizes.

Set in the heart of the Welsh Marches, this 70 acre garden has stunning views towards the Black Mountains. Created over 120 years by four generations of the Banks family, Hergest Croft has a unique collection of over 5,000 rare plants, trees and shrubs as well as more than 90 ‘Champion’ trees. There are gorgeous flower borders, an old fashioned Kitchen Garden, Azalea Garden, Maple Grove, and Park Wood. Spectacular spring and autumn colour make this a garden for all seasons.
