Scott Balderson from Hereford will be walking the 17 mile Gloucester to Sharpness Canal walk to raise money for St Michael’s Hospice.

Scott decided to organise the fundraiser after the death of his colleague and friend Phill Price. The pair worked together at Tesco in Bewell Street and Scott wants to raise money for the hospice to thank them for the care and support they provided for Phil.

Scott told Your Herefordshire:

“I am doing the sponsored walk from Gloucester to Sharpness, which is in total a 17 mile walk. Recently I lost a good friend to cancer. He was a lovely man who would do anything for anyone. So I am doing something as a thank you to St Michael’s Hospice for looking after him in his last few weeks.”

Scott will be completing the walk on the 18th April and any donations will be appreciated – : https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Scott-Balderson?utm_source=Sharethis&utm_medium=fundraising&utm_content=Scott-Balderson&utm_campaign=pfp-email&utm_term=b734345ec9fe4e92b6ce72c673be6f6a.
