Celebrating his 90th birthday today, we’d all like to wish TONY GERAGHTY a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Tony bounces twice a week at Hereford Dynamix Trampoline Club based at the Hereford Leisure Centre in the adult trampoline sessions with his personal coaches Stuart and Emma. His favourite skill is a front landing and he likes back somersaults in the harness, in his heyday being able to somersault front and back with no support. Tony loves being part of such a supportive group of bouncers and says the sport helps him to retain his co-ordination and balance. Along with trampolining Tony also enjoys running and going to the gym.

Starting trampolining at the age of 60, Tony has been trampolining for 30 years with coach Stuart, joining in 1992 after trying a half term taster session at Halo Leisure.

A former member of the parachute regiment and decorated military veteran, completing 500 freefall parachute jumps Tony was looking for something new to do. A man of many talents,

Tony was a journalist for the Boston Globe and was the The Sunday Times Defence Correspondent. He is a distinguished author of contemporary history having written many books including the best-selling SAS history Who Dares Wins.

Here’s wishing you the best birthday Tony, you are an inspiration to us all 🤩
