Co-op has relaunched its Grandstand Road food store, in Hereford, following a £1.5m investment.

The 11,500sq ft store relaunched on today, after a 10-week programme of works. The new-look store features Costa Coffee Express, Amazon Lockers, free customer car parking, and enhanced bakery.

In addition, from the 22 October, the store will offer a new click & collect service, with collections available in as little as two hours through Co-op’s online shop.

Gareth Jones, Co-op store manager, said: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to make such a significant investment in Hereford, transforming the store with a great new look and offer to better serve the community.

“Co-op is committed to connecting communities and making a difference locally, and our aim is to operate at the heart of local life. That is why we also want customers to know that they can become a Member of their Co-op, and that they can make a difference to local causes every time they swipe their Membership card when buying own branded products.”
