West Mercia Police officers have arrested a man following a stabbing incident near Hereford city centre.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a 28-year-old man was found with a stab wound in Hereford.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:
“Shortly after 6pm on 21 October officers attended an address in St James Terrace, Hereford after a 28-year-old man was found in the Green Street area of the city with a stab wound to the hand that had caused non life-threatening injuries.
“A 24-year-old man from the area has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, and on suspicion of attempted arson endangering life. He has been bailed while investigations are ongoing.
“The investigation is continuing and we encourage anyone with any information to come forward.
